Frequently Asked Questions

How much will it cost to repair/replace my roof?
It depends on the square footage of the roof and the details, as well as the type of shingles being installed. The cost can range anywhere between $3,000 and $20,000.

How will I know if I need a new roof?
Usually shingles will start to lose their granules (which protect the shingles from UV rays) and the corners will either start to curl, or, if the ventilation is not up to code, the corners will start to claw the roof. Any signs of leaking will also indicate that the roof needs to be done. However, if budget is a problem, most leaks can be patched temporarily.

How long will the new roof last?
The type of shingle that has been used will also affect the duration.
25 year shingle: If the proper ventilation and underlayment is installed, and the soffit vents are working, your roof should last 20-22 years.
